"2084"
Somewhere on the planet called Earth, in same ocean, around 2084.
Those who were forced to flee due to various effects of climate change, travel on a raft of garbage.
Same lost their homes destroyed by natural disasters, others had unbearable weather in their country, and same are fleeing war. They, the handful, constitute the population of Earth. The last. They fled from different areas to find a new home. Or at least a minute of peace. Linder normal circumstances, they would not draw attention to themselves. Perhaps they would be enemies. Now they have to stick together. They are dependent on each other, however different they may be.
The performance "2084" is the result of a three-week international artistic residency that took place
in Przecław and Goleniów. The residency was part of the "Project 2084". The performance was created in collaboration between local artists and three artistic partnerships: Ladder Art Company from Hungary, La Transplanisphere from France and HYBADU from Poland. "2084" presents a dystopian perspectivenon climate change, telling the story of the last survivors navigating a rift, searching for a way to unite.
